A large and growing advisory firm is looking to hire a fully remote Senior Accountant as part of its continued expansion.

This is a permanent work from home role, suited to someone who wants flexibility while continuing to develop in a structured, client-facing environment.

About the Role

You will work as part of a small, structured team alongside a Manager and junior staff, supporting a diverse portfolio of SME clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS and payroll tax
• Managing compliance deadlines across your client base
• Assisting with management reporting and advisory work
• Supporting on tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div 7A
• Reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
• Working directly with clients and supporting ongoing relationships

This role offers exposure to advisory and CFO-style work, with the firm continuing to move away from purely compliance-based services.

About You

• 4+ years’ experience in business services
• CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying
• Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
• Good communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
• Comfortable working remotely while staying engaged with a team

Salary

$100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience.
