The role
The Project Manager is accountable for the clear definition, structured delivery, and controlled execution of projects from initiation through to deployment. The role requires the ability to frame complex initiatives, establish robust governance, and manage delivery across multiple workstreams while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment. The role requires a qualified practitioner with the ability to frame projects clearly, manage delivery through defined lifecycle stages, and operate confidently within formal governance structures.
Your Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Ownership
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of approved global IT projects (P2P) across Europe
- Ensure delivery to agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Drive initiatives from initiation through deployment and transition to BAU
- Maintain alignment with business objectives and approved investment
Stakeholder & Matrix Management
- Act as the primary project lead for in-country delivery
- Coordinate delivery across global and regional teams

- Implementation teams
- Manila Helpdesk
- Group IT Network & Microsoft Windows teams
- Third-party engineering partners
Resource & Capacity Management
- Define resource demand, capacity requirements, and skill profiles
- Coordinate with Customer Technology Managers and Manila-based teams
- Manage dependencies, constraints, and competing priorities across projects
Planning, Controls & Reporting
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans (Gantt, critical path, dependencies)
- Monitor performance against baselines and milestones
- Provide structured reporting including RAG status, risks, issues, and escalation
Governance, Risk & Change Management
- Operate formal change control processes
- Own RAID logs and implement corrective actions when delivery deviates
- Participate in weekly PMO and governance forums
Transition & Operational Handover

Manage transition into BAU, ensuring:
- Support models are defined
- Handover documentation is complete
- Operational teams are prepared for live service
- Confirm closure criteria are met and agreed
Requirements
- Recognised PM certification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, APM PMQ or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience delivering projects in IT and/or operational settings
- Proven end-to-end project lifecycle ownership, including BAU transition
- Experience working within formal governance and PMO frameworks
- Strong planning, tracking, and delivery control skills
- Hands-on experience with: Jira, Microsoft Project, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong stakeholder management across diverse, cross-cultural teams
