Intermediate Accountant OR Senior Accountant - 100% work from home

Intermediate / Senior Accountant — $105,000–$120,000 Package — Hybrid / Remote

We’ve partnered with a modern Gold Coast-based accounting firm that is going through a rebuild and growth phase.

You’ll be stepping into a key position as the right-hand to the Director, with a genuine opportunity to grow into a 2IC role as the firm scales over the next 12–24 months.

The work
• You’ll work closely with the Director across a portfolio of SME clients, supporting both compliance and advisory work while helping manage workflow and offshore resources

Typical duties include:
• Financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts and partnerships
• BAS and IAS preparation
• Client communication via phone, email and video
• Reviewing work and assisting with workflow management
• Supporting and managing offshore staff
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
• Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

About you
• 3–6+ years public practice experience
• Confident preparing and reviewing work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, particularly with clients
• Comfortable managing or mentoring junior or offshore staff
• Open to CA, CPA or IPA qualified candidates
• Must be based in Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast or Northern NSW
