Client Manager – Business Advisory & Tax (WFH/Remote)

Remote role - only attend the office/clients on occasional basis! (Sydney based)

The Client

Join this well-established and progressive firm with offices on the north side of Sydney and use your previous experience in a senior accounting or managerial position. Our client holds an experienced team of approximately 50 staff, where half of the team is based offshore to support the accountants.

The Role

Work closely with the partners and the rest of the team and take responsibility of a client portfolio. This role offers you the opportunity to work from home and only attend the office and client meetings occasionally, when desired or required. Therefore, you will have to reside in the Sydney region to be considered for this position.

Duties may involve:

• Be responsible for a client portfolio in various industries
• Complete or coordinate the completion/ review of statutory compliance work, including the following:
• Financial Statements
• Income tax returns and schedules
• Company secretarial requirements
• Business Activity Statements
• Be responsible for the development of solutions and providing advice
• Analyse client's performance for year-end tax planning
• Review and prepare management accounts
• Oversee more junior staff and review work

The Applicant

• 4-6+ years’ experience in Business Services & Tax
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields
• CA/CPA qualification in place or in the process of attaining
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
