We’re expanding and looking for an experienced Specialist Support Coordinator (Level 3) to support participants with complex needs, high-risk situations, and multiple stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience working with participants with complex needs, including high-risk or crisis situations
- Strong understanding of the NDIS, including plan implementation, safeguards, and restrictive practices (or the ability to quickly build this knowledge)
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in challenging situations
- Excellent communication, report writing, and documentation skills
- A genuine passion for empowering people with disability
Essential Requirements

Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g. Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Community Services or related field)

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the disability sector, with exposure to complex participants
- Previous Support Coordination experience (Level 2 or above highly regarded)

About the Role
As a Specialist Support Coordinator, you will support participants to navigate highly complex systems and situations, while ensuring safeguards are in place and outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support participants to implement their NDIS plans, particularly in complex or high-risk situations
- Coordinate multiple services and stakeholders to ensure cohesive, effective support delivery
- Identify and respond to risks, barriers, and safeguarding concerns
- Build participant capacity to navigate the NDIS and make informed decisions
- Prepare high-quality reports, case notes, and documentation for the NDIA and stakeholders
- Maintain consistent and meaningful engagement with participants and their support networks
