Freedom Migration is a boutique migration practice passionate about helping Australian families build their lives together. We specialise in family-based visas, including complex matters such as health waivers, serial sponsorships and ART cases. We’re not an incorporated legal practice – just a team of expert, empathetic professionals driven by results, heart and innovation. About the Role

This is not your typical case-management role.

As a Registered Migration Agent focused on strategy and client engagement, your day will focus on:

• Conducting detailed visa strategy consultations via video and phone;
• Delivering clear, accurate, and well-reasoned pathway advice to individuals and families embarking on their visa journey;
• Drafting comprehensive post-consultation advice letters that demonstrate your analytical and strategic thinking in compliance with the Code of Conduct;
• Contributing to business growth and client acquisition through nurturing leads and building trust;
• Undertaking targeted legal research to ensure advice is current and accurate;
• Participating in marketing and education activities – webinars, seminars, and video content that position you as a thought leader.

This is a high-impact role for a Migration Agent who prefers thinking strategically about visa solutions rather than getting lost in day-to-day case preparation.

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Love the strategic challenge of mapping visa pathways and thinking several steps ahead;
• Thrive on consultations and advisory work, not on processing forms;
• Enjoy the business development side of migration practice – engaging clients, building rapport, and closing opportunities
• You value your reputation and are committed to providing accurate immigration advice, you’re not going to cut corners and avoid research to get something off your desk quickly;
• Are a self-starter who manages your day and results without needing close supervision;
• Are tech-savvy and excited to use new systems that make your work sharper and more efficient;
• Hold yourself to high professional standards – accuracy, integrity and accountability;
• Have 5+ years’ experience as a Registered Migration Agent in a comparable role (though strong junior applicants will be considered for a development pathway).
