About The Role

We have an exciting full-time term contract opportunity for someone who is passionate about learning and helping others grow and thrive in their careers.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing support with identifying capability needs across the organisation and advise on learning solutions aligned to business priorities.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Learning & Development Coordinator committed to continuous process improvement, and building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In This Role You Will

  • Respond to queries and requests from internal and external clients by providing a high standard of customer service to meet the learning needs of the City
  • Provide advice on learning and development policies and procedures
  • Liaise with employees and managers regarding development opportunities
  • Assist with reviewing and improving processes, procedures and policies to ensure they are meeting the changing needs of the City
  • Process and coordinate external training and conference requests ensuring compliance with City policies and procedures
  • Assist in updating and managing content on our Learning Management System (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Contribute to internal communications that promote learning and growth

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • Previous experience in a HR, or learning support role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with a Learning Management System
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of contemporary learning practices
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Adult Education, other relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and digital learning tools

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
