About The Role
Reporting to global leadership, the General Manager – Australia is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and growth of the Australian business.
This is a true General Manager role combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The successful candidate will operate as the senior leader for the region, carrying full accountability for commercial growth, operational performance, customer delivery and financial outcomes across the business.
The role sits at the centre of decision-making, leading all aspects of the operation including commercial, sales, operations, supply chain, procurement and local financial management. The successful candidate will act as the primary commercial driver of the business, responsible for securing new partnerships, increasing commercial performance across existing locations and building a scalable commercial engine to support long-term growth.
Operating within a fast-moving and growth-oriented environment, the role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with practical execution, while building capability, structure and accountability across a lean national team.

The Executive
You are a commercially driven and hands-on General Manager or senior commercial leader with a strong growth mindset and a proven ability to scale businesses and drive revenue growth.
You bring experience operating within B2B or B2B2C environments, ideally across distributed networks, physical service environments, retail services, franchise operations or field-based business models. You are comfortable operating in lean and evolving environments and enjoy balancing strategic leadership with practical execution.
You have demonstrated success leading commercial growth initiatives, building sales capability and developing scalable go-to-market strategies. Importantly, you are comfortable acting as the “first salesperson” within the business, equally capable of securing key opportunities directly while building the structure, process and team capability to support future growth.
You bring strong commercial acumen, operational judgement and the ability to translate strategy into fast, practical execution. You are highly relationship-oriented, with the ability to build credibility and influence across retail, property, transport, education or similar high-footfall sectors.
Your leadership style is hands-on, pragmatic and field-oriented. You are comfortable leading from the front, operating autonomously and navigating ambiguity within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
