Business Development Manager – Drug & Alcohol Detection | Western Australia

About the role

Pathtech is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Perth, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our client base across the Western Australian market for our drug and alcohol detection solutions.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across WA
  2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including new and existing clients
  4. Provide expert consultative advice on our drug and alcohol detection products and services
  5. Collaborate with the wider sales and marketing team to develop effective campaigns and sales strategies
  6. Accurately forecast sales and provide detailed reporting on pipeline activities
  7. Ensure all sales-related administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of success in a business development or new sales role, ideally within the drug and alcohol testing, workplace safety industry or occupational health.
  2. Excellent consultative selling skills with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions
  3. Strong prospecting and lead generation capabilities, with the drive to consistently build a healthy sales pipeline
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  5. Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
  6. Relevant tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing or a related discipline
