Description:
SYOS Aerospace is growing, and we’re looking for a Business Development Director - Australia to help accelerate our growth across the Defence, government and national security sectors. SYOS is developing and delivering unmanned vehicles across air, land and sea, and this is an opportunity to play a key role in bringing that technology to market.
With R&D and rapid prototyping facilities in New Zealand and growing manufacturing capability in the UK, this is just the start. We’re building the capability, products and global footprint to take SYOS to the next level. We’re looking for someone with the drive, relationships, networks and proven record to identify opportunities, build trusted partnerships and bring new business into a growing technology company.
What You’ll Do
What You’ll Bring
We’re focused on what you can deliver - your networks, relationships and proven ability to bring business in.
Location is flexible. Capability comes first.
We’re open to where in Australia this role is based for the right candidate. However, the successful person will need to be based in Australia and have permanent eligibility to work in Australia - this is a requirement of the role.
For us, the priority is your skillset, networks, relationships, industry knowledge and proven record of success. Significant travel across Australia and internationally will be part of the role as you engage customers, partners and support SYOS’s growing global footprint.
Why SYOS?
We’re different. We’re building unmanned vehicles across air, land and sea, taking technology from concept through to real-world capability. With R&D and rapid prototyping in Mount Maunganui and manufacturing expanding in the UK, our global capability is growing quickly. And this is just the start.
You’ll join at a time when SYOS is building momentum and expanding globally. This is not about maintaining the status quo - it’s about helping build what comes next. Join us while we’re building momentum. Bring your drive, your networks and your ambition - and help shape what SYOS becomes next.
