3 Year PAE Criminal & Traffic Lawyer(Work From Home/Remote)

About the role

Wiseman Lawyers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Criminal Lawyer to join our team. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional legal representation and advice to our clients facing criminal and traffic related charges at courthouses throughout Queensland.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive legal advice and in person court representation to clients facing criminal and traffic related charges
• Attending courthouses across Queensland, regular overnight travel required
• Drafting legal documents, including work licence affidavits, as well as written and oral submissions
• Fielding phone and online enquiries and providing telephone consultations
• Effectively communicating with clients, prosecutors, and the court to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Staying up to date with changes in criminal and traffic law to ensure our clients receive the most current and relevant advice
• Receipting trust funds and issuing invoices via Leap Legal Software

What we're looking for

• No less than 3 years post admission experience exclusively in Criminal Law
• Confident courtroom advocate
• Current drivers licence
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Experience using Leap Legal Software ideal
