The OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team. In this role you will be based at a remote mine site in South Australia working a 2 & 1 roster working 12 hour days.

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will ensure appropriate stakeholder consultation while providing oversight of our direct labour force on allocated projects delivering works to a high standard, on time, and within budget.

In This Role, You Will

  • Promote and ensure safe work practices, complying with all WHS & Environmental Acts and Regulations.
  • Assist in the development and management of Handover Work Packs, ITPs, and FTRs.
  • Maintain Electrical Worker and Calibration Registers.
  • Develop Manufacturers Data Reports (MDRs).
  • Interpret drawings, plans, and diagrams for electrical installations and circuitry.
  • Verify red-line drawings for accuracy.
  • Participate in client punch list walkdowns.
  • Liaise with and report to external clients.
  • Coordinate and promote Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a QA/QC E&I Inspector, Electrical Supervisor, Commissioning Supervisor, Electrical Control Engineer or similar.
  • Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet project targets under pressure.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and commissioning schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn and apply corporate software systems.
  • Ability to assist in delivering commissioning works on schedule and within budget.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Trade Certification / AQF Certificate Level 3 Electrotechnology.
  • Current Electrical Licence (South Australian preferred or eligible to transfer).
  • White/Blue Construction Card.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
