About the Opportunity

We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and have a newly created opportunity for a highly motivated, fully remote Mortgage Broker to join our team.

Currently, our core client base is located in Sydney with a strong focus on residential mortgages and more recently in commercial lending with great success. We envision significantly growing our residential presence while actively expanding into the commercial mortgage broking space further.

With an average deal size of $550k, average annual volume of $20m and an anticipated FY26 annual volume of $40m, this role offers incredible earning potential. We are offering an exceptionally competitive 80% commission split for a hungry, self-starting professional who is ready to build their own portfolio under a supportive and established banner.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously self-source and generate your own high-quality leads to build a robust pipeline.
• Manage the end-to-end mortgage broking process, delivering tailored residential (and eventually commercial) loan solutions to clients.
• Utilise your tech skills and social media advertising experience to attract, engage, and convert prospective borrowers.
• Provide exceptional, highly professional customer service that aligns with FinKonsel’s holistic, solution-driven approach.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of lending policies across our 30+ lender panel and broader market trends.

What we're looking for/experience needed

• The Right Fit: First and foremost, you are a genuinely nice, professional person who is keen to learn and grow alongside the business.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience as a Mortgage Broker. (We are also open to candidates with a strong background in banking mobile lending).
• Lead Generation: You are a true hunter with a proven track record of self-sourcing and generating your own leads.
• Tech & Marketing Savvy: You must be comfortable utilising technology and possess hands-on experience with social media advertising to drive your own business growth.
• Ambition: Highly motivated by an uncapped, commission-only structure where you take home 80% of what you write.
