About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to step into an established caseload.
This is a mobile, community-based role offering genuine flexibility, with the ability to work from home when not seeing participants. You’ll have autonomy over your schedule while being supported to grow.
This role is primarily servicing the Central Coast (Gosford region), with some work across the Newcastle area. We aim to allocate participants locally where possible to minimise travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an active caseload with autonomy
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs)
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
- Work closely with families, support workers, and stakeholders
- Deliver practical, evidence-based strategies
- Maintain high-quality documentation aligned with NDIS requirements
Salary & Benefits

$95,000 – $120,000 + Super (based on experience)

About You
- Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core level or above)
- Demonstrated experience managing or co-managing an NDIS caseload (typically 6–12 months+)
- Confident working independently while seeking support when needed
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Committed to high-quality, person-centred practice
- This role is suited to practitioners confident working independently and ready to take ownership of a caseload.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commission (Core level or above)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Teaching, Behavioural Science, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support
- Strong understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards framework
