Role

SmartLab is seeking enthusiastic appointment setters to cold and warm call prospective clients in Australia and New Zealand (heads of department and deputies) to book them in for online product demonstrations with our team.

Job type

This role is solely remote (work from home). You can also pick and choose your own hours.

Compensation

Contractor (ABN) rate: $30 per hour + $15 commission for every meeting you booked that turns up.

or

Casual employee rate: $31.19 per hour + $9.89 commission for every meeting you booked that turns up + super (12%).

Experience

Previous appointment setting / call centre / cold or warm calling experience is desired.

Hours

You will have the opportunity to work a minimum of 8 hours per week up to 40 hours per week (provided KPIs are met).

Timeline

If you are successful, we will kick off with a 45 minute training session, followed by an 8-hour trial period in which to meet the group's KPIs. The 8-hour trial can be split up over different days. Provided you keep within the KPIs, this role will continue until the first week of December 2026. We will however pause during school holidays between school terms which may be for 1 or 2 weeks at those times.

Requirements

  • Access to a computer
  • Your own phone plan (preferably unlimited international calling plan to call NZ as well as Australia)
  • Sailstrail app dialer for call logging (note this is mandatory for the role and the application only works on mobile phones, not computer dialling).
